An event on “Awareness-raising on the protection of the right to access information” was held in Gabala
On May 18, 2022, an event on “Awareness-raising on the protection of the right to access information” was held at Gabala Cultural Center Organized with organizing the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Gabala Region Executive Power. Detailed information was provided related to the employees of Ombudsman office provided detailed information on provision, promotion and encouraging of the right to access information by the department for the protection of the right to access information in accordance with the legislation, consideration and response of appeals related to the violation of this right, implementation of monitoring and analysis, legal awareness in this field, as well as other directions at the meeting was attended by employees of Gabala REP, law enforcement agencies, executive representatives, education and healthcare workers as well as other directions. At the end of event, leaflets are given out on the topic “Let’s know the right to access information and ensure it”.
