Remembrance Day event held in Gabala on September 27
On the occasion of September 27 – “Commemoration Day,” a solemn district-wide ceremony was held at the Martyrs’ Alley in Gabala. Heads of the District Executive Power , representatives of law enforcement bodies, directors of institutions, enterprises and organizations, family members of the martyrs of the Patriotic War, war veterans, disabled veterans, as well as members of the local community. Participants paid tribute to the memory of the martyrs of the First Karabakh War and the Patriotic War by visiting the Martyrs’ Alley complex, laying flowers at the graves and memorial plaques. Furthermore, throughout the day, in connection with September 27 – Commemoration Day, prayers were offered for the souls of the martyrs in all mosques and churches operating within the district.
