Renowned Pianists from Austria and Vietnam Perform at the Gabala International Music Festival
The 15th Gabala International Music Festival, initiated and organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation with the support of the Ministry of Culture, the Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli, and "Gilan", is successfully continuing. At the “Chamber Music Evening” held at the Heydar Aliyev Congress Center, Austrian pianist Alexander Maria Wagner and Luong To Nhu, one of the leading figures of classical music and piano performance in Vietnam, performed C. Debussy’s "Isle of Joy", F. Schubert’s Fantasy in F Minor for Piano Four Hands, Op. 103, Alexander Maria Wagner’s “Mohn” five miniatures, Alexander Scriabin’s Fantasy in B Minor, Op. 28, and works from Tofig Guliyev’s piano series "Jamila’s Album". The event, showcasing the harmony of different cultures through its rich programme, was warmly received by the audience and concluded with a resounding applause.
