Silkworm breeders in the Gabala region have started harvesting fresh silkworm cocoons

During the current season in the Gabala region, the contracts to produce fresh silkworm cocoons were concluded with 52 silkworm breeders. They were supplied with 126 boxes, or 2.52 kg of silkworms. Over the past several days, producers have begun delivering their finished products. In the first days of harvesting, silkworm breeders from Gabala delivered 616 tonnes of fresh cocoons to the collection point. Cocoon harvesting is currently ongoing.
