Students of the Baku Music Academy performed at the Gabala Festival
The XIV Gabala International Music Festival has been delighting music lovers and visitors of the city for three days with captivating concert programs. As part of the festival, the next concert program was presented to the audience on July 26 at the Heydar Aliyev Congress Center in Gabala. During the evening of chamber music, students of the Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibayli performed an engaging concert program for music lovers. At the beginning of the concert, People's Artist Professor Zahra Guliyeva spoke about the achievements of the Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibayli. It was noted that the Baku Music Academy, as a leading institution of higher music education, is proudly represented today by the voices of its graduates from all over the world. As the first higher music education institution in the East, the Baku Music Academy has left significant works and names in the pages of our national culture. Today, it is these brilliant names that promote our national music culture worldwide. The concert featured works by Uzeyir Hajibayli, Tofig Guliyev, Firangiz Alizada, H. Rzayev, E. Afrasiyab, as well as pieces by E. Grieg, A. Fisher, J. Ibert, P. Sarasate, S. Rachmaninov, and other composers, along with compositions by students of the Baku Music Academy.
