The 11th conference of the Gabala Region Organization of the New Azerbaijan Party was held

On September 14, 2026, the 11th conference of the Gabala Region Organization of the New Azerbaijan Party was held. The event started with a visit to the monument of the national leader Heydar Aliyev, where participants honored his memory and laid flowers at the monument. The event, which continued at the Gabala Region Organization of the New Azerbaijan Party, began with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who gave their lives and attained martyrdom in the struggle for the liberation of our lands was honoured with a minute of silence. Abil Aghasafov, Chairperson of the Gabala Region Organization of the NAP, delivered a report on the organization’s activities, speaking about the party’s glorious path, its leading role in the socio-political life of the country, and the work carried out by the region organization during the reporting period. In his speech, Sabuhi Abdullayev, Head of the Gabala Region Executive Power, noted that the New Azerbaijan Party was established through the political will and foresight of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and, under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, had entered a new stage of development. Touching upon the country’s important socio-economic achievements and historic Victory, he highlighted the significant role played by the party in these successes. In his speech, Milli Majlis MP Eyvaz Gurbanov emphasized the importance, under the new realities, of raising young people in the spirit of patriotism, equipping them with knowledge and skills that meet modern challenges, and ensuring their active participation in socio-political processes. He stressed that the region organization has important tasks to fulfil in this area. Khagani Taghiyev, Chief Adviser of the Organizational Department of the Central Office of the NAP, spoke in his address about the rich political legacy of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, emphasizing the importance of organizing the activities of local structures in accordance with the party’s Charter and Programme, as well as further improving work with party members. Other speakers noted that the New Azerbaijan Party is a great party that remains committed to its principles and ideals for the further strengthening and empowerment of developing Azerbaijan and wished the Gabala Region Organization of the New Azerbaijan Party success in its future activities. The event concluded with the performance of the anthem of the New Azerbaijan Party.
