The 15th Gabala International Music Festival started
On July 29, the 15th Gabala International Music Festival officially started. The festival is held on the initiative and with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, with the assistance of the Ministry of Culture, the Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli, and Gilan.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Farhad Badalbeyli, People's Artist and Rector of the Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli, noted that the festival has been successfully held for 15 years. At the opening concert, works by Azerbaijani and European composers were performed by Elvin Hoxha Ganiyev (violin), Honoured Artist of Azerbaijan, Aysun Mahmudzade (soprano), Shamistan Aliyev (clarinet), and Vagif Gurbanov (cello), accompanied by the Student Symphony Orchestra of the Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli under the baton of People's Artist of Azerbaijan Ramiz Melik-Aslanov.
