The Belarus national team claimed the bronze medal in football at the III CIS Games.

In the bronze medal match of the football tournament, held as part of the III CIS Games hosted by Azerbaijan, the Belarus U-16 team defeated Tajikistan 2-0. Following this result, Belarus secured 3rd place in the tournament, while Tajikistan finished 4th. Earlier in the day, Uzbekistan defeated Kyrgyzstan 2-0 to claim 5th place. It is noted that the final match will take place on October 4 between the national teams of Azerbaijan and Russia.
