The delegation of the Gabala Region made a business visit to Grodno of the Republic of Belarus
On September 5-8, 2024, a delegation headed by Sabuhi Abdullayev, the Head of the Gabala Region Executive Power, made a business visit to Grodno of the Republic of Belarus, being the sister city of the Gabala Region. During the visit, the delegation met with the city administration, discussed the prospects of existing relations between Grodno of the Republic of Belarus and the Gabala Region of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Also during the visit, our delegation visited the memorial complex dedicated to the Great Patriotic War, and took part in the Grodno International Economic Forum. Within the forum, a "Roadmap" was signed for the "Memorandum of Understanding" on establishing connections between Gabala (Republic of Azerbaijan) and Grodno (Republic of Belarus) for 2024-2026. Then the delegation took part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition reflecting the industrial, economic and tourist potential of Grodno, the festive events of the "City Day" dedicated to the city's 896th anniversary and the traditional festival "Cheese".
