The event “A Life Dedicated to Statehood” took place
On May 5, 2026, an event titled “A Life Dedicated to Statehood” was held on the occasion of the 103rd anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, organized by the Heydar Aliyev Center of Gabala Region. The event, organized at the Heydar Aliyev Center of Gabala Region, opened with a one-minute silence to honor the memory of the Great Leader and the martyrs who lost their lives for the territorial integrity of the country. Speakers at the event highlighted the rich and multifaceted life of the National Leader, emphasizing his exceptional contributions to strengthening Azerbaijani statehood and preserving and developing national moral and cultural values. They noted that during the years he led Azerbaijan, his farsighted domestic and foreign policy significantly enhanced the country’s international standing and ensured the permanence and irreversibility of its independence. It was also stated that his political course is successfully continued today by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev.
