The festival of children's creativity "Children are our future" was held in the Gabala region.

In connection with June 1st – the International Children's Day, a festival of children's creativity "Children are our future" was held in the Heydar Aliyev Park in Gabala.  The festival, organized within the Action Plan in connection with declaring the year 2023 as the "Year of Heydar Aliyev" in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of national leader Heydar Aliyev, was attended by the officials of the Gabala Region Executive Power, the Sheki-Zagatala Regional Education Department, law enforcement agencies, educational and cultural institutions of the region, as well as the members of the general public, elders and children, including children of the Patriotic War martyrs and veterans. In his speech, the Head of the REP Sabuhi Abdullayev told about the state-provided care to the children, laid down by the great leader Heydar Aliyev, and today successfully continued by the President Ilham Aliyev, about the projects implemented on the initiative and with the assistance of the First Vice President, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva, and congratulated the children on this significant day. The Head of the Sheki-Zagatala Regional Education Department Bahruz Mehdiyev in his speech told about the conditions created by the state to identify the abilities of gifted children, protecting the health of children in need of special care, as well as improving the quality of their education. The event participants got acquainted with the exhibition of handmade crafts created by the students of general education, extracurricular and preschool educational institutions of the region, the regional School of Arts, as well as members of hobby groups operating in the Child and Family Support Centers and the art gallery, watched sports activities of the young athletes of the Olympic Sports Complex and the Gabala Sports Club, listened to poems and songs performed by children. In conclusion, children of martyrs and veterans received gifts from the Region Executive Power.
