The final awarding stage of the Olympiad “Foundations of a Rule of Law” was held in Gabala.

On October 28, 2022, the final awarding stage of the Law Olympiad called “Fundamentals of a Rule of Law”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and November 12 “Constitution Day”, in which teams of schoolchildren from Gabala, Shamakhi, Ismayilli and Oghuz regions competed, organized by the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan and with the support of Gabala Region Executive Power was held in Gabala. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played and the memory of our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of our land was commemorated with a 1-minute silence at the event attended by representatives of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan, executive powers of Gabala, Ismayilli, Shamakhi and Oghuz regions, representatives of education departments, school principals, and Olympiad winners. Speaking at the event, the Head of Gabala Region Executive Power, Sabuhi Abdullayev, first greeted the guests, expressed his satisfaction that the final stage of the Law Olympiad was held in Gabala, noted that building a rule of law in Azerbaijan is connected with the name of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, and emphasized that the traditions of statehood founded by the National Leader are today successfully continued by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. Speaking, Chairman of Gabala Regional Court Abbas Aliyev gave extensive information about the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the Head of the Department of Constitutional Law of the Office of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan, State Counselor of the 3rd degree - Mrs. Durdana Mammadova, about the purpose and results of holding the Olympiad. In the end, according to the results of the Law Olympiad, the winning teams, as well as the schoolchildren with high scores, were individually awarded with Honorary Decrees and gifts by the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Among the regions, the team of Gabala city secondary school No. 2 was awarded the first place.
