The final stage of the IX Republic championship “Young rescuer and firefighter” has been concluded.

On June 29, 2022, the final awarding ceremony of the final stage of IX Republic championship “Young rescuer and firefighter” with the organization of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Cultural Center of Gabala Region, support of the ministries of Education, Youth and Sports, Trade Union of employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Gabala Region Executive Power and participation of 14 rescuers and firefighter teams who won zone competitions held in the cities and regions of the Republic, as well as 60 martyrs’ children was held. The National Anthem was sounded at the event attended by the heads of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the ministries of Education, Youth and Sports, Gabala District Region Executive Power, law enforcement agencies of the region and representatives of the region public, and the memory of our martyrs was commemorated with a minute's silence. Then a showreel prepared by the Ministry of Emergency Situations was shown about the competitions. Chief of the Main Department of Civil Defense Organization of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Major-General Niyazi Zamanov, chairman of the Trade Union of MES employees Mehman Ismayilov, deputy head of the Public Relations Department of the MES, Colonel Mahbuba Mustafayeva, representative of the Ministry of Education Maral Suleymanova, representative of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Ali Mammadov emphasized the importance of making important decisions on the development of youth in our country by the president of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev, spoke about the importance of the competition and congratulated the winning teams and wished the participants new successes. At the end of the event, which continued with the artistic part, the winning teams were presented cup, diploma, honorary diploma and valuable gifts, and other participants were presented honorary diplomas and memorable gifts. In the national championship, the first place was awarded to the teams of Baku city secondary school No. 31, second place to Sumgayit city No. 43 secondary school, and third place to Ganja city No. 14 secondary school.
