Another session of the council took place at the Gabala Region Executive Power.
On July 13, 2026, a regular council meeting was held at the Gabala Region Executive Power. The meeting was attended by representatives of the city, settlement and village administrative territorial units, chairpersons of municipalities, and heads of relevant institutions. The participants discussed issues arising from the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated May 25, 2026, on the approval of the “State Program for the Development of Agriculture, Fisheries and Aquaculture Production and Processing Sectors in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026–2030” and the regulation of certain related matters. The discussions focused on the analysis of the current state of household registration maintained by township and village administrative territorial representative offices, measures against unauthorized construction, the organization of insurance coverage for private residential houses and households to compensate for damage caused by fires and natural disasters, as well as ensuring the well-organized conduct and timely completion of the 2026 grain harvesting campaign in the region. The participants also considered preventive measures against fires in forest areas, harvested agricultural fields adjacent to forests, dry grasslands and other territories during the summer season, reviewed existing challenges and upcoming tasks, and issued relevant instructions and recommendations.
