The Gabala Region Cultural Center held an event titled “From Salvation to Victory”
On June 11, 2026, on the occasion of June 15 — National Salvation Day, the Gabala Region Cultural Center, the Gabala State Art Gallery, the Cultural Centre of Bum settlement, and the Cultural Centre of Jigatelli village jointly organized an event titled “From Salvation to Victory”. The event started with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Then, the memory of the National Leader of our people, Heydar Aliyev, and the martyrs who gave their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was honored with a minute of silence. The speakers noted that the National Leader Heydar Aliyev rendered invaluable services in the direction of preserving and strengthening Azerbaijani statehood. The speakers emphasized that National Salvation Day is a turning point in the fate of our people and noted that the return of the Great Leader to power in 1993 saved Azerbaijan from civil confrontation and anarchy. Within the framework of the event, a video dedicated to the life and activity of Heydar Aliyev was shown, a literary-artistic composition was presented, and an exhibition was organized.
