The Gabala Regional “ASAN service” Center hosted a meeting on “Parenting Skills”
The Gabala Children and Families Support Center and the Gabala Regional “ASAN service” Center jointly organized a psychological consultation on overcoming challenges that may arise in parent-child relationships, under the theme “Parenting Skills”. Representatives of the Gabala Region Executive Power, the Gabala Children and Families Support Center, the Gabala Regional “ASAN service” Center, the Gabala Region Heydar Aliyev Center, the Gabala Region Museum of History and Local Lore, and the Gabala Region Psychological Life Center, together with parents, took part in the meeting. During the meeting, the speakers highlighted the importance of mutual understanding and healthy communication between parents and children. Parents were advised to consider their children’s age-related characteristics, listen to their thoughts and feelings, approach problems with understanding, and use positive communication methods. The causes of misunderstandings in parent-child relationships, appropriate ways to address them, and psychological approaches to reducing emotional tension were also explained. The meeting concluded with the distribution of informative brochures on the topic.
