The "Mobile Youth Service" project, organized by the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan and supported by the Gabala Region Executive Power, was officially launched with an opening ceremony held prior to its implementation at the Gabala State Vocational Education Centre on 6-10 July, 2026. Held under the slogan "With Youth, For Youth," the opening ceremony of the project commenced with the performance of the National Anthem and a one-minute silence in memory of the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sovereignty of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ataya Osmanova, Deputy Head of the Gabala Region Executive Power, particularly emphasized that the state youth policy founded by the National Leader Heydar Aliyev is being successfully continued today under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev. She also highlighted the implementation of comprehensive programmes and initiatives aimed at the development of the younger generation, the promotion of their sound moral and ideological values, and noted that the country's territorial integrity has been ensured through the heroism and bravery demonstrated by Azerbaijan's young servicemen. Speaking at the event, Azar Aliyev, General Director of the Youth Development and Career Centre, highlighted the project's significance for the personal and professional development of young people in the regions. He noted that the initiative contributes to broadening young people's knowledge, encouraging their civic engagement, and ensuring the direct delivery of state-supported assistance mechanisms to youth living in the regions. The primary objective of the project was to promote the comprehensive development of young people, particularly those living in remote rural areas across the regions, in line with the priorities of the state youth policy, while improving their access to the services provided by the Foundation. The opening ceremony concluded with patriotic musical performances, after which the participants were introduced to the areas of activity of the "Mobile Youth Service" project and viewed an exhibition featuring handicrafts produced by students of the Gabala State Vocational Education Centre. The event continued with the "Khamsa" intellectual game and various sports activities.
