The report meeting on socio-economic development results for 2025 and objectives to be executed was held in Gabala on January 13.
The participants of the event first visited the monument to National Leader Heydar Aliyev, laid flowers in front of it, and paid respect and tribute to the memory of the great personality. At the report meeting held in the assembly hall of the Culture Center, the National Anthem of Azerbaijan was played, followed by a one-minute moment of silence in honor of memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for independence and territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The report meeting was attended by Head of the 9th Territorial Sector of the Department for Territorial and Organizational Issues of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilgar Suleymanov, Members of the Milli Majlis Elshan Musayev and Eyvaz Gurbanov, Head of Gabala District Executive Power Sabuhi Abdullayev, members of the Council under the Head of Gabala District Executive Power, heads of law enforcement agencies, departments, institutions, and organizations, representatives of administrative territorial units, chairpersons of municipalities, families of martyrs, war invalids and veterans, and representatives of the public. In his report speeeh at the meeting, Head of Gabala District Executive Power Sabuhi Abdullayev, provided extensive information on the achievements gained within the framework of the development strategy founded by National Leader Heydar Aliyev, and successfully continued today by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the major events that took place in the socio-economic and socio-political life of the country and the district over the past year, the work accomplished in agriculture, tourism, and other fields, as well as international and republic-level events held. He noted that the success achieved in 2025 would be maintained in the years ahead. During the report meeting Members of Milli Majlis Elshan Musayev and Eyvaz Gurbanov, together with Head of the 9th Territorial Sector of the Department for Territorial and Organizational Issues of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilgar Suleymanov spoke about the achievements in domestic and foreign policy under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, extensive construction works in the country, measures to improve the social well-being of citizens. They highlighted the systematic reforms, strategic projects, and diplomatic initiatives implemented in recent years provide opportunities to set broader goals in the coming years. Other speakers emphasized the work carried out in our district, the renewal of social infrastructure, and the important steps taken to open new job opportunities, expressing their gratitude to the country’s leadership for all these.
Later, on behalf of the participants of the meeting, an appeal addressed to President Ilham Aliyev.
At the end of the event, a group of individuals were awarded Honorary Certificates of Gabala District Executive Power for their professional achievements, and their active participation in the socio-political life of the district. In addition, an employee of the Apparatus of Gabala District Executive Power Fuad Zakariyazada was presented with the “Medal for Distinction in Civil Service”, awarded byDecree No.632 of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated June 21, 2025.
