The supertournament “Vugar Gashimov Memorial-2023” is still going on

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov and his deputy Mariana Vasileva, Sabuhi Abdullayev, the head of the Gabala National Football League, Gasim Hashimov, the father of Vugar Hashimov, representatives of the Azerbaijan Chess Federation, the Vugar Gashimov Chess Foundation, and chess players were among those in attendance in the “Vugar Gashimov Memorial-2023” supertournament, which takes place at the Gabala Heydar Aliyev Congress Center on December 9, 2023. The competition was opened by the Republic of Azerbaijan's Minister of Youth and Sports, Farid Gayibov, on the second day of the competition.
