Unauthorized construction prevented during the regular monitoring activities conducted across the region
Employees of the Gabala Region Executive Power, the Region Police Department, the North-West Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, along with representatives of other relevant government agencies, continue to conduct monitoring activities across the region to prevent unauthorized construction. On August 7, 2026, during a routine monitoring inspection of the section of the Garamaryam–Ismayilli–Sheki road passing through Mirzabayli village of Gabala region, unauthorized construction works being carried out by a citizen in the roadside area on a plot of land not owned by them were stopped, and the area was vacated.
Citizens are once again reminded that carrying out unauthorized construction on land plots, unlawfully occupying and fencing off land plots, as well as using them for various purposes, is unacceptable.
