Vakil Gayibov, who went missing during the First Karabakh War, was buried 33 years later
The body of Gayibov Vakil Movlan, a resident of Gamarvan village in the province of Gabala who went missing during the First Karabakh War, were brought to his hometown of Gamarvan village for burial. The farewell ceremony was attended by the heads of the district executive power, representatives of law enforcement agencies, the district branch of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription, employees of various institutions and organizations, the martyr’s family members, and representatives of the local community. After the burial, flowers were laid on the martyr’s grave and prayers were recited for his soul. The tricolor flag of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in which Gayibov Vakil’s body was wrapped, was presented to his family.
