Various events dedicated to the Independence Day held in general education institutions of the Gabala region
In connection with Independence Day, lectures, round-table discussions, literary and artistic compositions, exhibitions of students’ creative works, and photo displays were organized in the general education institutions of the Gabala region. During the events, students were provided with detailed information about the history of the establishment of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, the path of development it underwent, and the contribution it made to the cultural development of the nation and the advancement of science and education during its short period of existence. Information was also presented on the achievements attained following the restoration of our country’s independence and the invaluable services of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in the field of state-building. It was noted that this political course is being successfully continued by the President Ilham Aliyev. Students recited poems dedicated to independence and patriotism, presented literary and artistic compositions, and performed songs. In addition, a video covering the activities of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic and its role in the history of Azerbaijani statehood was screened.
