Within the framework of the “Year of Heydar Aliyev”, a conference “Heydar Aliyev and the ideology of Azerbaijanism” was held

On March 16, 2023, within the framework of the “Year of Heydar Aliyev”, a conference on “Heydar Aliyev and the ideology of Azerbaijanism” was organized by the Gabala Region Executive Power.

The conference participants visited the monument to great leader Heydar Aliyev erected in the center of the city, laid flowers in front of the monument and expressed great respect and reverence for the memory of the genius.

Firstly, the National Anthem of Azerbaijan was played, and a moment of silence was observed in memory of the great leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who were martyred for the liberation of our lands from occupation at the conference held with the participation of the Gabala Region Executive Power, law enforcement agencies, representatives of administrative enterprises and organizations, representatives of the intelligentsia, elders, scientists and the public of the region. Opening the event with an introductory speech, Sabuhi Abdullayev, head of the Gabala Region Executive Power, greeted the guests and participants of the conference and spoke about the high value of national leader Heydar Aliyev attached to Azerbaijani science, intelligentsia and scientists and stressed that the formation of the national path of development and worldview of the Azerbaijani people, who restored their statehood at the end of the last century, coincided with the leadership of our independent republic by great leader Heydar Aliyev. Speaking at the conference on behalf of scientists and representatives of the intelligentsia, the rector of Lankaran State University, professor - Natig Ibrahimov, correspondent of “Khalg newspaper”, honored journalist - Ittifag Mirzabayli, chairman of the Albanian-Udi Christian community - Robert Mobili noted that national leader Heydar Aliyev, who considers himself an Azerbaijani with all his heart, blood and soul, has done important work towards turning the ideology of Azerbaijanism and national solidarity into a leading factor in the integration of society and turned the historically established individual components of Azerbaijanism into a single system and concept and turned it into a scientific and theoretical basis for state administration. In his speeches, it was noted that the great leader Heydar Aliyev achieved the solidarity and integrity of society, the moral unity of society, turning Azerbaijanism into a national ideology. Other speakers spoke about the great merits of national leader Heydar Aliyev to the Motherland and people, as well as the attention and care he showed to education and youth.
