XIV Gabala International Music Festival concludes
The XIV Gabala International Music Festival, dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the great composer Uzeyir Hajibayli, organized and initiated by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibayli, and “Gilan,” has concluded. Having become a cherished tradition, the festival once again succeeded in drawing music lovers to Gabala. On July 29, at the closing ceremony and final concert of the XIV Gabala International Music Festival, the audience was presented with the "Viva opera" concert program dedicated to the 90th and 100th death anniversaries of prominent musicians Vasif Adigozalov and Rauf Atakishiyev, with the participation of the Azerbaijan State Symphony Orchestra named after Uzeyir Hajibayli. Conducted by People's Artists Yalchin Adigozalov and Fuad Ibrahimov, the concert featured solo performances by Murad Adigozalzada (piano), Yusif Eyvazov (tenor), as well as Aytaj Shikhalizada (mezzo-soprano) and Avaz Abdulla (baritone), all of which were warmly applauded by the audience.
